Golf Course Superintendent
Ryan has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture and Turfgrass Management from the University of Rhode Island. He has been the Superintendent at The Woodlands Club since November 2009, but has worked in the turf management field since 1995. Over the years, he has had the privilege of working at some of the best golf courses in the area and the world. He was previously employed as an Assistant Superintendent at Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland, New Hampshire and the National Golf Links of America in Southampton, New York and was the Golf Course Superintendent at Augusta Country Club in Manchester, Maine.
He and his wife, Julie, have two children and couldn’t be happier to be raising them in Maine. He has passed on his love for the game of golf and golf courses to both of his children as they, too, enjoy playing the game. They have learned at an early age to replace their divots and fix their ball marks plus another two on every green.
