Eye of the Needle

This fairway is very narrow from the tee, but mounding behind the cluster of pines on the left will help bring your ball back to the fairway.

How to Play:

The very front of the green slopes dramatically toward the player.
 

The Cape

A classic cape hole, this par five offers several risk/reward options. A bold player will try to keep the tee ball to the left side leaving a long carry over water for an eagle opportunity. The more conservative approach is to aim at the left edge of the fairway bunker visible from the tee.

How to Play:

A mid or long iron from there will leave a short approach and a chance for a birdie.
 

Gentle Bend

This slight dogleg right provides plenty of room from the tee.

How to Play:

Trees framing the entrance to the green dictate that you locate the pin prior to playing your tee shot and set up the best angle of attack. The front portion of this green is sloped severely toward the player.
 

Puddle Jumper

This water hole demands a well struck tee shot or double bogey lurks.

How to Play:

Beware the left hand pin placements which bring both the water and the bunker into play. The number one priority is to keep the ball dry.
 

Pipeline

This tight par four requires an accurate tee shot. Balls hit down the right side tend to kick back toward the center.

How to Play:

The approach plays slightly shorter than the yardage would indicate. Beware the left hand bunker which is the most difficult sandy on the course.
 

The Rock

This is a long uphill par five requiring three solid shots.

How to Play:

Tee shots should be played short or left of the right fairway bunker. The second is easier than it looks. The funnel shape of the fairway tends to steer balls away from the bunkers. The approach requires precise yardage to place the ball on the proper level of the two-tiered green. The slope separating the two tiers provides an excellent backstop when playing for a front pin.
 

McClure’s Tree

A long iron or fairway wood is your best play from the tee on this deceptive short par four.

How to Play:

The landing area slopes from left to right, but can't be seen from the tee. The proper line for the tee shot is directly over the ladies tee leaving a short approach to a very shallow green. Chipping from beyond the green is extremely difficult.
 

White Tail

A pond on the left and back will catch any mistakes on this par three.

How to Play:

If you are unsure of the distance, it may be better to land a little short and try for a chip and putt.
 

Home

A great finishing hole, this par four has a pond down the entire left side.

How to Play:

Play your tee shot at the last tree on the right side for the best angle to the green. The depth of this green and angle of approach makes club selection for the second shot important.
